This summer camp for WAG gymnasts aged 7 - 14 will be directed by renowned guest coaches Alina Kozich, Mikhail Voronin and Siska's own coaches.

Learn how the Russian training system works!

You and your gymnasts will participate in daily, structured sessions accompanied by clinics covering topics such as how to build warm-up, beginning and advanced pirouettes for uneven bars, core skill techniques on balance beam and more!

Enjoy training six days in one of Europe's most beautiful, unspoiled cities. Optional bus tours to Lake Bled or Postojna Caves are available.

The International Gymnastics Summer Camp will take place from Monday till Saturday, from 29th of June to 4th of July 2020 and/or 6th to 11th of July 2020. The gymnasts will have the possibility to choose between 1 or 2 trainings per day. The training will take place in the gymnastics gym, trampoline park »Super Jump Gib« and in the fitness room. Additional afternoon activities are also available for the gymnasts (swimming pool, sports games, excursions, etc.).

A more detailed schedule will be known after we collect all applications.


Accommodations are available at half and full board for the following rates:

Kvarner Cup, Croatia

Attending Kvarner Cup gymnastics meet in Opatija, Croatia. Our friend in Croatia will be hosting a friendly gymnastics meet the week-end before our camp (26 - 28 June, 2020). This meet is held right by the sea with cheap accommodations in a hostel and is a great way to wrap up your trip! Participation fees are in addition to Summer GYM Camp. Busses will be arranged for travel from Ljubljana to Opatija and return.

Lake Bled

Postojna Caves

A more adventurous tour, the Postojna Caves are an underground wonderland. Just 1 1/2 hours from Ljubljana, this is a fun and exercising trip! Postojna Cave Park

Summer Camp Coaches

Alina Kozich

Merited Master of Sport of Ukraine and European All-Around Champion 2004.

Alina brings years of experience from coaching on the staff of several national teams - Japan, Belarus and Hungary. Her background as a world-class athlete helps her relate to and inspire gymnasts.

Gymnastics professionals and fans alike remember Alina for her beautiful performances at the world level and in two Olympics Games in Athens and Beijing.


Mikhail Voronin

He is a tumbling coach who works in the Zvenigorod gymnastics training centre in Russia where he coaches the women's and men's Russian National Team reserve gymnasts.

In 2019, Mikhail was invited to the UEG summer training camp in Tirrenia, Italy, to work with the best gymnasts from countries across Europe.

His training sessions are always very positive and he teaches even the most complicated skills is a fun and interesting way.

Liudmila Korolenko

Merited Coach of Ukraine, Honoured FIG Judge and coach of multiple Olympians and medalists at World and European championships and University Games and World Cups.

Liudmila Korolenko has had gymnasts on the national teams of Ukraine, Canada and Slovenia and has also been a coach on the Russian National Team coaching staff. She currently works with us here at GiB Siska in Slovenia where she shares her great expertise and experience.


Ričard Crnjac

Prof. of sports education, with a professional qualification and the title of consultant. He has been working as a coach in Gymnastics Club Šiška since 1992, and since 2002 he is also active as a coach in the Slovenian national team in women's artistic gymnastics in various categories. He is the coach of several national champions and winners of international medals.


Vesna Stare-Crnjac

She has been working as a coach at the Gymnastics Club Šiška since 1990. Since 1997, she has been a successful international judge in all major competitions: World and European Championships, Mediterranean Games, Universiade and many World Cups. She received an award for outstanding judging on the 2014 World Cup from the International Gymnastics Association. Vesna was proudly judging the Olympic Games, Rio 2016 as an invited judge.



 Urban Sever

Urban has been engaged in sports gymnastics for 7 years, and since 2006 he has been working as a coach at the Gymnastics Club Šiška. He gained his coaching experience as a coach of multiple national champions from grades 1 to 7 and participated in various international competitions in Malta, the Netherlands, Romania, Serbia and Croatia. He also attended the international UEG camp in Tirrenia in 2015 and 2018. From 2015, he works in gymnastics programs with promising gymnasts. He is the coach of the cadet team and the coach of several national champions. In 2018 and 2019 he won the title of »The best coach in the cadet category« of the Gymnastics Association of Slovenia.
